Titiro Whakamua is located in Upper Hutt, within the grounds of Heretaunga College, and offers an all-day (8:00am to 4:30pm) service for tamariki both under and over 2s. This centre provides a valuable option for families who are looking for a supportive, inclusive environment that combines the kindergarten teaching philosophy with the flexibility of longer hours.

The centre is uniquely positioned to support young parents who are continuing or returning to education while also welcoming enrolments from the wider community.

Tamariki at Titiro Whakamua have access to an outdoor play area, where they can spark creativity, and connection with nature. From sandpits and gardens to climbing equipment and open space to explore, there’s plenty for tamariki to do.

The indoor learning environment is filled with learning resources, age-appropriate activities, and quiet spaces that promote both independent and collaborative learning. A dedicated sleep room is also available for tamariki who need rest during the day.
