Maungaraki Kindergarten is located on a sunny site behind the shopping centre in Maungaraki. Our teachers are passionate about providing high quality education to all children and develop programmes that cater for the interests and needs of every individual child. We have a well developed outdoor area providing a variety of learning opportunities for children.

Wellbeing – Maungaraki Kindergarten strives to uphold a culture which protects and nurtures the health and wellbeing of tamariki, whanau and kaiako. The Kindergarten celebrate the diverse make up of their community through their commitment to Te Tiriti partnership.
Learning – A play based curriculum at Maungaraki Kindergarten fosters children’s social, emotional and cognitive skills through opportunities to explore, create and be curious.
Community – Kanohi ki te kanohi (face to face interaction) is a valued concept at Maungaraki Kindergarten, endeavouring to be involved and interdependent with the community, growing global citizens as a result of our localised curriculum.
