We are very proud to announce that Hutt City Kindergartens is now certified with the Rainbow Tick!
We began this process in late 2019 to become a Rainbow Tick certified organisation. This is a continual quality improvement programme designed to help an organisation ensure it is a safe and welcoming workplace for employees who are members of the Rainbow community. We were assessed on our policies, training, staff engagement and support, external engagement and monitoring. A process that would see us complete a diversity and inclusion assessment and reflects our values as an Association.
We are the first early childhood education provider in this space and we look forward to the positive ripples this may have throughout the sector, our wider community and for the many families involved.
